MGM Grand Detroit

MGM Grand Detroit was an $800 million project that brought some Las Vegas glamor and glitz to Motown. It was the first of three commercial casinos in Detroit. MGM Resorts International, a casino and hospitality giant, runs the property.

The resort is located in downtown Detroit, on the outskirts of the city?s Corktown district. It features a casino with 100,000 square feet of gambling space and close to 2,800 slot machines, almost 160 table games and a 24/7 poker room. There is also a 400-room AAA four diamond and Forbes four-star hotel.

Upon receiving approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board, BetMGM launched a sports betting app and online casino in Michigan on Jan. 22, 2021. The app complements the retail BetMGM Sportsbook, which opened at the casino on March 11, 2020 ? the inaugural day of legal sports betting in the Wolverine State.

The MGM Grand is also home to five restaurants and dining options, two clubs, and the MGM Rewards loyalty program. You must be at least 21 to visit the casino.
