SuperBook Sportsbook Joining Sports Betting Roster In Tennessee
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s SuperBook sportsbook, set to debut this month in Tennessee.
Last month, the Tennessee Sports Wagering Advisory Committee (SWAC) approved applications for three new sportsbooks to go live in the Volunteer State: SuperBook sports, Betly and Bally Bet.
SuperBook, which owns the “Worlds Largest Sportsbook” at the Westgate in Las Vegas, and a second location in Colorado, already provides a mobile sportsbook app in four states.
SuperBook Director of Audit and Compliance Linda Tobin told the SWAC that the company wanted to launch in April. A visit to the SuperBook website shows the announcement that it will be live in Tennessee soon.
Bally Bet administrators hope to be live in Tennessee by the end of 2024 or early 2024. Betly told the SWAC it is expected to be ready by the end of 2024.
A lucky 13 for Tennessee sports bettors
With the addition of SuperBook, Bally Bet, and Betly, Tennessee sports betting fans have 13 different platforms they can use to wager on the Titans, Predators, or even the Lady Volunteers in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.
The Bally Bet sportsbook is live in five states, and new players can sign up for promotions for free bets upon an initial deposit and earn points toward Bally’s Casino rewards.
Bally’s is already the official sports betting partner of the Nashville Predators NHL franchise.
Originally, the company applied for a license last May to the Tennessee Education Lottery, which oversaw gambling operations in the state. That duty has now shifted to the SWAC.
Bally’s said the delay in opening the online sportsbook in Tennessee is due to a new software version that is being produced.
The Betly app is playable in both Arkansas and West Virginia. It’s gone under the brand Gamewise, which is a partnership of Delaware North and GAMING1.
Mobile and online sports betting went live in Tennessee (population 6.9 million) on November 1, 2020.

Tennessee’s mountains of sports betting revenue
Figures reported by Tennessee show that the existing sportsbooks collected $386.1 million in bets in January and $23 million on wagers on Super Bowl LVI.
The state of Tennessee grabs 20% of the industry’s net operator revenue in taxes, with 80% of that going to education.
Tennessee allows betting on in-state colleges, but no live prop bets on college games or individual college athletes.
