Sports Gambling Broadcaster VSiN Plants Flag At New Jersey Casino

A sports gambling broadcast innovator is planting a flag in the heart of the new legal and regulated sports betting market in New Jersey.
Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN) is the online and SiriusXM Radio broadcaster claiming to be the first sports media company dedicated to providing sports gambling news and analysis. VSiN announced it is opening a studio inside the William Hill Sports Book at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.
AC Ocean Walk LLC Chairman Bruce Deifik said the decision to partner with a broadcast pioneer required very little deliberation:

VSiN CEO Brian Musburger is the brother of legendary sports broadcaster and VSiN partner and host Brent Musburger. He said New Jersey makes perfect sense for VSiN:
“As legalization continues to expand across the country, VSiN will be where it needs to be to cover these markets. Bruce Deifik’s Ocean Resort has made a significant commitment to the sports betting scene in New Jersey by opening the most impressive sports book in Atlantic City.”
VSiN weekend broadcasts
According to a news release, the studio will begin hosting VSiN’s weekend morning shows starting later this month. Former NFL executive Michael Lombardi, an Ocean City, NJ native, and current VSiN host Jonathan Von Tobel will anchor the shows.
Lombardi is the owner of three Super Bowl rings. He earned two of the rings with the New England Patriots in 2015 and 2017. Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick has said Lombardi is one of the smartest people he’s worked with.
Von Tobel has been a VSiN producer and host since its launch in February 2017.
Moving programming from VSiN’s studio in the sportsbook at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada will also see the weekend show start times moved up to 10 a.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday.
VSiN offers 24-hour sports gambling focused programming on its SiriusXM channel fuboTV and it’s own website and apps. Brent Musburger anchors a weekday evening show on the network.
Additionally, VSiN hosts a daily one-minute-long update on more than 100 radio stations across the country. Plus, it syndicates various content to the New York Post, Las Vegas Review-Journal and other media outlets.
The William Hill Sports Book at Ocean Resort Casino
Setting up inside the sportsbook means setting up shop in the center of the Ocean Resort Casino floor.
The sportsbook operated out of a temporary location after the casino opened June 28. However, it moved into its new 7,500 square foot space in the heart of the casino floor in September. The William Hill Sports Book features a 360-degree state-of-the-art video wall, seven ticket windows, and various self-serve betting kiosks. Plus, there are dozens of TVs for game viewing, two bars and lounge seating.
Now, it’s also the host of a nationally syndicated sports betting and gambling show.
The William Hill Sports Book at Ocean Resort Casino is the second top-grossing casino-based sportsbook in the state behind only the Race & Sports Book at Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa.
Through August, the Ocean Resort Casino-based sportsbook generated more than $1.7 million in revenue, compared to $2.35 million at Borgata. Of course, Borgata did enjoy a month and a half head start after launching sports betting in mid-June.
