Schedule and info for Raiders home games at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas

The NFL released the schedule for most pro football games next season. Games during the last week of the season are listed as To Be Decided (TBD). The schedule could be changed depending on which games might have playoff implications.

The Las Vegas Raiders revealed their games in a video on Twitter.

Raiders home games are 40% flooded with tourists

Raiders home games are unlike any other in the NFL. Depending on the game the Raiders might not have much of a home-field advantage.

Sports travel is real around the US and especially in Las Vegas. There aren’t many better reasons to take a vacation than to see a favorite sports team play in another city.

The Raiders play home games just off the Vegas Strip at Allegiant Stadium. The venue is more than just a local venue. It’s also a tourist attraction.

Last year, approximately 40% of the 1.7 million people attending an event at Allegiant Stadium were from out of town.

That number jumped exponentially for Raiders games. Approximately 65% of those in attendance for the last five regular season Raiders home games were from out of town.

While some of those out-of-towners might have been Raiders fans it’s safe to say most were rooting against the home team.

When are the Raiders’ home games this season?

We’re going to focus on Raiders home games for those who may want to make plans to see their team in Las Vegas. You can see the full home, road, and preseason schedule here.

One major change from last year’s Raiders home schedule is the number of standalone games. Half of the Raiders’ home games will take place on a Sunday, Monday, or Thursday night.

  • Sept. 24: Pittsburgh Steelers at 5:20 p.m. (Sunday night)
  • Oct. 9: Green Bay Packers at 5:15 p.m. (Monday night)
  • Oct. 15: New England Patriots at 1:05 p.m.
  • Nov. 5: New York Giants at 1:25 p.m.
  • *Nov. 12: New York Jets at 5:20 p.m. (Sunday night)
  • Nov. 26: Kansas City Chiefs at 1:25 p.m.
  • Dec. 10: Minnesota Vikings at 1:05 p.m.
  • Dec. 14: Los Angeles Chargers at 5:15 p.m. (Thursday night)

Week 17 versus the Denver Broncos is TBD depending on playoff possibilities. The Nov. 12 game versus the Jets could be flexed. This game could be played at a different time.

The Raiders play one preseason home game against the San Fransisco 49ers. The time and day of this game are TBD.

A glance at hotel room prices shows that prices are less expensive for the December games. Secondary market ticket prices are above $200 per seat for all games as of the writing of this article.

Planning a trip to a Raiders game

There’s a lot of planning to do when visiting Las Vegas for a Raiders home game. Visiting Las Vegas for a Raiders game isn’t a bargain and begins with buying tickets.

Thanks to all of the visitors going to the games, ticket prices have been the highest in the NFL for two years in a row. Budget accordingly.

Once the game is selected and tickets are purchased, it’s time to browse for hotels and make restaurant reservations.

This sounds simple but the number of visitors in Las Vegas for a football game drive hotel prices up and fills many of the most popular restaurants.

Those are just the beginning. There are often other shows and concerts in Las Vegas when the Raiders play. Keep an eye on event calendars to see what other events are taking place when the Raiders are in Las Vegas.

What are the Raiders facing heading into the season?

The Raiders have the fourth most difficult schedule in the NFL next year according to Sharp Football Analysis. Unlike most schedule analyses, this is based on season win totals from sportsbooks.

The analytics website projects the Raiders to win 7.2 games next season. This seems close to accurate. The Raiders’ season win total at DraftKings is 7.5 games.

Back in Las Vegas, the Raiders are 40-1 to win the Super Bowl at Station Casinos. The Raiders are 20-1 to win the AFC and 8-1 to win the AFC West.

Las Vegas hosts the 2024 Super Bowl

Las Vegas will host Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11, 2024. The game will take place at the Raiders’ home field, Allegiant Stadium.

Much like visiting Las Vegas for any football game, planning well in advance can be a benefit. Just like Raiders games, hotel room rates will be higher than usual and restaurants will book months in advance.

Unlike Raiders games there might be a reason to visit Las Vegas even sooner than game day. There should be plenty of events taking place leading up to the Big Game.
