Caesars Launches Tropicana Online Casino In Pennsylvania

Just weeks after debuting a rebranded Tropicana online casino in New Jersey, Caesars Entertainment has rebranded its Pennsylvania online casino.

The new Tropicana online casino provides all the standard games gamblers would typically expect from an online gambling platform. Caesars said in a brief statement about the launch:

“The new iCasino app and online casino experience offers Pennsylvania customers a wide variety of classic and cutting-edge casino games, including American and European Roulette, market-leading slot games from best-in-class providers, Live Dealer Blackjack, Poker and Baccarat, and digital classics like Video Poker, and much more.”

Tropicana online casino in Pennsylvania offers all the favorites

Slots are the main revenue driver of both land-based and online casinos. As such, the new Tropicana online casino has dozens of slot titles ranging from old favorites like 88 Fortunes and Blazin’ Hot 7s Big Bonus to new
games such as:

• Jungle Spirit: Call of the Wild
• Vegas Night Life
• Wilderland
• Money Frog
• Buster Hammer Carnival

In addition to its numerous slot titles, the Tropicana online casino offers 16 table games, 27 live dealer games, and seven video poker titles.

Caesars pushing for a bigger cut of massive Pennsylvania market

Only six states in the country offer real-money online casinos, and Pennsylvania is the biggest market. Since online casinos launched in 2019 in the Keystone State, they’ve generated more than $4.2 billion in revenue. The state has earned nearly $1.3 billion in tax revenue from its online casinos.

And, last month, PA online casinos generated $181.5 million in revenue, setting a new record. In short, the online gambling business is booming in Pennsylvania.

With the launch of Caesars’ rebranded online casino in Pennsylvania, the company is likely hoping to capture a bigger slice of the state’s revenue.

There are essentially two tiers of online casinos in Pennsylvania: those that make more than $30 million, and those that make less than $7.5 million.

Last month, Caesars tallied $5.8 million in revenue from the former iteration of its online casino. That total puts Caesars in the bottom half of revenue earners in the state. For example, Hollywood Penn National, which operates five online casinos, brought in more than $76 million in revenue last month.

Launching a rebranded online casino in PA should generate a bump in revenue to move Caesars into first among the bottom-tier revenue producers. Caesars may be able to get close to $7.5 million in monthly revenue.
