Caesars Interactive Rebrands As Tropicana Online Casino In NJ
Caesars Interactive has finished rebranding as Tropicana. Now under the Tropicana brand, the two New Jersey online casinos – the main Caesars Sportsbook NJ and second fiddle Caesars Casino – merged in late March.
The rebranding finally comes almost a year after it was first announced last April. Caesars Casino had switched platforms in June to prepare for the rebrand, and the two online gambling sites had operated separately for nine months.
Caesars Entertainment announced the relaunch of Tropicana Online Casino in NJ in a press release. They touted a new online casino app experience promising improved functionality. They also mentioned it will have better integration with its Caesars Rewards loyalty program.
Matthew Sunderland, senior vice president of iGaming at Caesars Digital, said in the announcement:
“Caesars has a legacy in New Jersey with a history of providing a best-in-class gaming experience. The relaunch of Tropicana Online Casino is an
important step in our progression toward providing valued customers with the best iGaming products in the industry.”
Did the rebrand change the New Jersey online casino?
No, not much. Tropicana Online Casino has been a part of Caesars since 2018, so players at both casinos were familiar with Caesars Rewards, earning points with their plays.
Caesars Casino players, however, will have to download the Tropicana app to be able to play. Then they can log in and resume playing as usual. Caesars transferred all player data, including login information, rewards points, and funds, to their Tropicana account for a smooth transition.
“We’re confident this new offering delivers an elevated online casino experience with rewards that can’t be matched, similar to the industry-best experiences customers enjoy at Tropicana Atlantic City,” Sunderland added.
How can I play on the Tropicana Online Casino?
Tropicana Online Casino is available for download on iOS and Android, and live on desktop at TropicanaCasino.com. Players in New Jersey will see a broad variety of casino games such as European and American Roulette, as well as digital classics and slot games.
Joseph Giunta, senior vice president and general manager of Tropicana Atlantic City, said:
“Tropicana Online Casino enhances the exceptional gaming experience we take pride in bringing to our New Jersey customers every day. We are pleased to offer our guests the convenience of enjoying their favorite casino games in a fresh and responsible manner, right at their fingertips.”
New responsible gaming policies introduced
Alongside the revamp, Caesars announced two new policies for responsible gambling, including a comprehensive universal exclusion policy. It would add those currently on a state-sponsored self-exclusion list to a universal one covering all its gaming platforms and facilities.
The company has also adopted a 21+ policy restricting Caesars Rewards accounts to those over the age of 21, among other limitations.
