The venue in Salamanca started as a bingo hall in the 1980s. It became a casino once the s
tate and the National Indian Gaming Commission allowed bingo halls to have Class II and Class III gambling machines in 1993.

Seneca Gaming Salamanca grew over the years, adding more machines to its collection and introducing a dedicated card room for live poker. The casino?s only restaurant, Jazzy?s Place, received that name in 2016 in honor of a longtime kitchen worker who had passed away the previous year.
