The graphics in this game are a step up from the original. All the symbols are back — this time on a fancier reel set framed by gold and red. There are a few new small details as well, such as fireworks going off in the crimson background. Generally, the UI looks cleaner and less dated.

Dragon Lines Super has a few differences from the original in gameplay mechanics. Though you can still set up to 100 pay-lines, there are only three options: 25, 50, and 100. The tradeoff for reducing pay-line choices is much easier, quicker bet configuration, improving the general pace of play.
Unfortunately, the developers opted not to add new mechanics to the base game, so gameplay can still be tedious at times.

Ainsworth brings back the Chinese celebration in this update to the Dragon Lines slot. Sharper graphics, streamlined gameplay, and a tweak of the bonus round breathe a bit of life into the experience, but some issues from the old title remain. The RTP is still on the low end, and so is the max payout. In addition, there’s a noticeable absence of background music once again.
Overall, we’d give this slot a 3.5/5 rating. If you enjoyed the first game, the similarities here will be welcome despite the limited additions.
